This is my brother, James Paul.
He's goofy, and witty, and easily the funniest person I know.
He has terrible taste in coffee, and incredible taste in music.
He's a great listener and always the voice of reason.
He loves the mountains, and a good hike.
He's secretly a super sweet boy, with a super soft heart.
He worships the game of soccer, and has spent his whole life studying it.
He's ambitious and disciplined.
He's a great cook, of about six things. And weirdly makes great sauces.
He's humble, most of the time. And sarcastic, all of the time.
He's impossible to offend.
He's a great dancer. Like, really great. He's been dancing in the kitchen since he could walk. If there's a dance party, he's there.
He's never afraid to do things alone. He's fiercely independent and admirably confident.
He's everything I hope to be someday.
Happy birthday, kid.
